This Weekend Will Be The Death Of Me

.

There are four - FOUR! - movies out as of my typing this
that I want to see this weekend. FOUR!

Coraline - Of course, this is my #1 priority. I'd sneak out of work to go see this if I could get away with it. I haven't even seen it yet and I want to see it a second time!

Push - Word is not half bad on this from what I've read, and it's Chris Evans. Done!

Fanboys - Even though I'd railed against and ranted and raved about what the Weinsteins were doing to this movie, I... I somehow find my interest in seeing this as waning... at least amid this competition. I need to re-pysch myself on a Kristen Bell kick is what I need to do. The fact that the trailers all but eradicated her presence is what smothered my interest. But then she posed with that damned Wookie and... I hope to make it.

Memorial Day - I knew nothing of this movie until IFC emailed me that it was starting this weekend, and it sounds like it could either be awesome or it could make me set fire to all of the five boroughs. Here's how they describe it:

"On a wild Memorial Day weekend, young partiers film themselves in ever more compromising positions. As things start to spiral out of control, the story suddenly veers off into an unexpected realm. The revelers have changed, and the holiday's over, but still they're determined to keep the cameras rolling, no matter what. The feature directorial debut of noted experimental theater artist Josh Fox and from the producers of Half Nelson, Maria Full of Grace and American Movie, MEMORIAL DAY is a shocking tour through a culture whose fascination with exposure and exploitation creates a horrifying new kind of entertainment."

I'm very curious, and will find the time in the next week to see it. So keep your ears to the ground for the fire engines!

Oh, and then there's this thing called New York ComiCon that I'm going to that is all weekend long too.

Hence, me dead. Say your goodbyes, everybody!

What are y'all planning to see this weekend?
