Ya know, I thought I'd written off Lindsay Lohan completely, but then I saw her looking quite lovely in this spread for Interview Magazine, and read the excerpts (via) from the interview itself and well, I might still have a little room in my heart for her. Maybe. I felt a twinge. Oh I'm sure she'll ruin it. Optimism! What can I say, I'm like the kicked puppy in the corner when it comes to this girl.
And career-wise, it's not like she'll have much opportunity to prove herself to me again. There is one hope - Dare to Love Me, the Carlos Gardel (1930's Tango singer) bio-pic (directed by Alfonse Arau), that stars Raoul Bova AND Thomas Krestchmann (prev. post).

Along with thew birth cetificate they hand us a full biography of Carlos Gardel ("el varón del tango", you would love all the gay stories about him). He is a national idol. ¿And LiLo is in his biopic?

Any idea who this chap is that Krestchmann is playing? All I can find is his character's name, Mariano, on IMDb.
Because your suggestion of "gay stories" has me dreaming up a sex scene between Krestchmann and Bova, a happening that would immediately render me deaf dumb and blind.
My best guess is "Mariano Mores", the only tango-related guy friends with gardel named Mariano.
Then, I guess there will be no gay line there, since that guy is still alive.
Let´s hope for an other Mariano.

Okay, I googled Mr. Camil and this (nsfw) is the first picture that came up. Who thought that this was the right movie for Lindsay Lohan to join the cast of, fresh out of rehab? She's surrounded by this crazy cast of foreign hunks! Good grief.
Alfredo Lepera was the favourite "pal" of Gardel (even died together)... so it will probably be realistic, of course, since the man is dead and without descendants -just like Gardel-...
