Jeremy Renner turns 38 today. Renner gave what I still consider one of the finest performances of this decade in 2002 in Dahmer, a deeply unsettling take on the serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer. I definitely recommend checking the flick out; Renner is astonishingly good in it. Really. Believe me.
Since then Mr. Renner's been shining in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and 28 Weeks Later, two of my favorite flicks from last year; he's also in Kathryn Bigelow's film The Hurt Locker which still hasn't been released, has it? Huh. Nobody wants them stinkin' Iraq movies!

I also thought "the assasination of..." was pretty underrated
Thanks for bringing attention to one of my favourite actors whose ass is as amazing as he is talented!
He was actually in 28 Weeks . . .
You are correct of course, RJ. Big whoopsie! That's what I meant. Fixed already.
