A Pair Of Important Pushing Daisies News Items

.
Via this place comes some stuff!

--- Bryan Fuller is reworking the finale so it is not a cliffhanger but rather more of a proper finale. He's using post-production stuff to tweak the start and finish of the final episode.

--- There is another episode scheduled for this approaching Wednesday (#10 of the total 13 episodes), but after that... only nobody knows. Bryan Fuller thinks ABC might off them all in a one-night three episode event type thing. As long as they air them! For goodness sake.

This is so awful.
But with his history, Fuller will most likely land on his feet. It's actually a bit exciting.

JA, what's your take on this? Taking a completed episode and somehow working it about so that it gives closure? I don't want to be negative, but I just can't see how this will work. I suppose the narrator can finish the story, a la Wonder Years, but that wouldn't be very exciting.

Well we don't really have much of a choice here, fdot. I trust Bryan. I'd rather be given some closure, however illogical that may seem in the face of the negation of what should've been a show that lasted ten years, than be left with a cliffhanger that eats away at my insides for the rest of my life.

Though it's kind of nasty, I sort of want to send ABC this message:

Keep PUSHING DAISIES on the air - because TV shouldn't be just for morons!

I don't know if you've seen this article about "How To Save Pushing Daisies"

It's pretty funny - especially the Kurt Cobain bit
