--- Yesterday we learned that Rob Zombie is indeed attached to direct the sequel to his previous addition to the Michael Myers canon, and today we already have the first piece of art for the flick (seen to the right). Are they really going with H2 as the title? Yuck.--- Unbreak My Heart - Twitch has the first review of the My Bloody Valentine remake (it's 3D!) and they say:
"My Bloody Valentine 3-D has some special ingredients in its slasher recipe. These ingredients include brains, guts, jaws, blood and various pointy objects popping out of the screen via some very advanced 3-D technology. The 3-D in this otherwise middle of the road film is so well-done and applied in such an over the top fashion as to singularly elevate the film into a solid piece of event entertainment."
They had me at "jaws."
--- When In Doubt - Joe at Low Resolution pretty much sums up my take on the Meryl Streep movie Doubt. Loved the writing, loved the performances, was filled with a feiry rage at Shanley's lousy directing.--- And finally, let's get wasted with Barb!
