Golly gee, the interesting news keeps coming this week. Onward n' upward we go...

"Empire: We’ve also heard a rumour that you are working on a version of Roald Dahl’s The Witches? Is that true?
Alfonso Cuaron: Well I am involved with Guillermo Del Toro, but as a producer, not director. I think it started because I've always wanted to do a version of Roald Dahl's very naughty Uncle Oswald. So we were talking to Lucy Dahl, when we got onto the subject of The Witches. Then Guillermo wrote this amazing screenplay really quickly. It won’t be like the original Nicholas Roeg version, which was a beautiful film- because Guillermo wants to do it completely in stop- motion animation. I'm excited about it- I really hope we can put it together."
Yes that is correct: Cuaron, Del Toro, and Roald Dahl's The Witches in stop-motion. Look out your window; it is indeed raining orgasms.

"I'll cut to the chase: this thing just doesn't work."
True dat. I will add that Thomas Kretschmann sure was hot as a brute Russian with a shaved head, though.
--- BSG, v2.0 A Go - SciFi finally gathered their wits about them and green-lit the BSG prequel series Caprica. Hooray! The finale of BSG now feels a little less forbidding.
--- And finally, get your ass over to Lazy Eye Theater and wish Piper a happy 2nd bloggiversary.
