Well I had so much fun with our little game
yesterday for JD's
Endings Blog-a-thon over at Valley Dreamin' that I figured I'd take the opportunity of its continuation through today to do it all over again! Whee! Might as well spend my holiday somehow, and my brains are getting a little bit stir-fried from all the movie-watching. So here goes.
Ten Thirteen (!) more final shots from
ten thirteen (!) more of my favorite flicks. You tell me what they're from in the comments. I went a smidgen tougher this go-round - seriously, just a measly smidgen, I measured - because y'all proved your mettle quick-like yesterday. Now go!

#3) Punch Drunk Love. I only remember hating this movie. I'll have to re-watch and re-kindle why.
1) is Cache i believe?
2) Chinatown?
7) Showgirls? (big guess on that one!)
Mike, you are correct on naming the movie, and WOEFULLY wrong on saying that PDL was anything less than FANTASTIC. ;-)
Joel, right on all three counts!
PS - I'll be away from my computer for the next few hours so I won't be able to call y'all's answers as right or wrong until later this afternoon. Keep guessing though!
#10 is the conversation
6 - Harold and Maude
13 - Children of Men
I think the second from the bottom is Bonnie and Clyde.
Dennis
No. 9 (The crying lady) is definitely from Trois Couleurs: Bleu.
Number 4 is from "The Ice Storm", now is it not?
I also think:
4. THE ICE STORM
13. CHILDREN OF MEN
And...
10. THE CONVERSATION
11 is american psycho, non?
I do believe the one after Showgirls, of the little girl in the dark tying her ballet shoes, is from Audition.
I believe #5 is either El Topo or Holy Mountain (I saw them both in the same day, one right after the other, so they kind of blend).
You all are so awesome I can't feel my feet. I go out for a couple hours, come back, and everyone's guessed everything correctly. Yay! Great job, everyone!
unclemike, it's Holy Mountain, and I can totally understand them blending together since they do in my brain too. Although, is it weird that I generally prefer HM to ET? I got a little bored by ET but was completely enthralled by HM the entire time.
And I knew more this time, GAH.
