Up With Dead Movies

So this weekend's looking to be a real flop, movie-wise, eh? Nothing to see here. Hooey to Samuel L. Jackson, pish-posh on an animated Ben Stiller. There is Role Models - David Wain, Jane Lynch, and two adorable doofuses...

(Doofusi?)

... but the trailer has ceased amusing me so I can't decide.

However! There is, on the two coasts, a movie!

Avant-fag Bruce La Bruce has a gay-zombie movie called Otto, or Up With Dead People, coming out in NYC and LA today. The New York Times even gave it a positive review. You might recall that I posted on this movie well over a year ago, way before anybody else. That's because I'm incredible, but you know that already.

And all this reminds me that the title for George Romero's latest zombie movie was revealed to me last evening via my bud Sean, and it is:

... Of The Dead

The meta is threatening to engulf us all, I swear.
I do love that tag-line though:

"Death Isn't What It Used To Be."

You could say the same thing about Romero movies...
Aww, I kid, George! I love you!

This movie's been on DVD here for, like, a month. Weird.
