I Voted!

I hope y'all did too if you can. Or are planning on it. If you can. But now... well judging by the way I am at this exact moment, I think we should expect it to be pretty quiet here at MNPP today. I can't focus. At all. Writing these sentences right here is taking a massive amount of energy. We'll see if I calm down as the day wears on... perhaps perhaps... who knows. blah. See? No train of thought here.

If y'all have any fun Election Day tales share in the comments! I got to my local polling station at 6:30 this morning, and didn't pull the levers until 8:30. Everyone seemed in good spirits though. Nothing exciting to tell. No riots... no tear gas... no old ladies with Uzis dropping from the sky.

Well, off to stare at meaningless data now!

My polling place was a madhouse, but you're right: good spirits all around. I was kind of shocked at how pleasant everybody was considering the somethimes-chaotic atmosphere and the fact that everybody who showed up at 7 was clearly going to be way late for work. There was a good vibe out there today. Not that I'm getting optimistic or anything...
