I Am Link

--- The Fighter's Fight Fought - Things aren't looking good for Darren Aronofsky's next flick The Fighter - star-to-be Mark Wahlberg says it's still held up because of financial woes, and yes, other-star-to-be Brad Pitt has ditched yet another Aronofsky project (after screwing over The Fountain a few years back). Darren, how about you stop trying to work with Brad? He keeps dicking you, and you keep trying to kick that football. Hopefully The Wrestler's purported excellence will make money fall into place for his this next project, though, once it storms the award season this Winter.

--- Speaking Of Auteur Snags, David Fincher's adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke's Rendezvous With Rama appears to be undeniably and reliably dead.

--- Ebert Deux - There's an interview with Roger Ebert up at AICN in which AICn writer Capone is allowed to geek out on Roger like we all would if we got the opportunity to interview him. Most interesting to me is the bit about how his next book will probably be on Werner Herzog.

And then there's a terrific profile of Roger and his wife Chaz up here. What an amazing couple they are.

--- Gerry's Got The Look - Low Resolution pin-points the moment in the trailer for RockNRolla that guaranteed my attendance. "Appealing" don't hold a candle to the truth of it, my friend.

--- The Love Of A Mother For Her Sons - Evil Eye Theater posts a letter of discontent from some inbred mountain people the familial-boundary-challenged with regards to their Hollywood representation.

--- And finally, this is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
