I Am Link

--- Run On Green Blood - Looks like the 80's sci-fi classic V has finally gotten the remake green-light after years of whispers it'd happen. The fella who created "The 4400" - which I've never seen - is behind it.

All that matters is they keep the rat eating! Must have rat eating. And baby lizard people. Lizard people! Man I loved V when I was a kid. The hotness that was Diana! Kick ass.

--- His Name Is Quaid - They've cast the Very Important Part of Quaid in the adaptation of Clive Barker's Dread - Shaun Evans is the actor's name (seen to the left there); he was most recently seen in Boy A and Being Julia. I ain't never seen him in nothing, so who knows...

--- The Gorgeous Ladies of Grand Guignol - If you missed Nat's Strait-Jacket inspired Top Ten at The Film Experience on Tuesday, I highly recommend checking it out. It's chock full o' wonderful.

--- Bana's Next - Eric Bana's next flick will be a remake of a French heist film, to be called Armored. It'll be directed by the guy who made The Italian Job and it's co-written by the guy who wrote Seven. Blah blah blah Bana.

--- Why Stop At Ten? SciFiWire gives us a list of ten reasons why the public might not have much interest in seeing Watchmen on the big screen. And so, with that, I suggest we stop making artistic product altogether. Anything interesting must be scrubbed away for maximum box office, ya know. Ugh. These sorts of lists give me the hives. I mean, why? Who gives a fuck, before the movie's even close to coming out, about shitting on the audience and the movie and the book? How about we wait and see?

--- And speaking of lists, Cinematical has a list up of seven "First-Person Horror Movies Worth Watching" in honor of today's release Quarantine. The list begins on the right foot, with the movie Quarantine is itself a remake of, the Spanish fright-flick [REC], but quickly dissolves into madness by giving credit to George Romero's stillborn turd Diary of the Dead.

I'm so torn with regards to Quarantine. I don't have much hope that it'll be good (or at least as good as the original), but I really wanna see some horror movies right now. It's effin' October! Whatever to do?

"Being Julia" is a decent movie - good acting (Annette Bening and Bruce Greenwood) but slow. Shaun Evans is good... and naked in it. (He has a nice ass) Might be worth the rental...
