I Am (Classic Monsters!) Link

.
--- First up, via BD comes some new promo images from The Wolf Man, starring Benicio Del Toro as the titular titan of mange.

--- Next we have news of a sequel to Bram Stoker's novel Dracula, coming to us via his great-grandnephew Dacre Stoker (kick-ass name), who "along with award-winning Dracula documentarian and historian Ian Holt, accessed Bram Stoker's hand-written notes for his novel." Okay. Anyone else having flashbacks to that sequel for Gone With the Wind? Or Natalie Cole's discography? I'll still totally read it though. And there are, of course, already plans for a movie.

--- And thirdly, completing the Universal Monster Trilogy o' Terror, via STYD comes word on Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein movie:

"I'm not doing 'Mary Shelly's Frankenstein.' I'm doing an adventure story that involves the creature. I cannot say much, but it's not the central creation story, I'm not worried about that. The fact is I've been dreaming of doing a 'Frankenstein' movie since I was a child. The one thing I can promise is, compared to Kenneth Branagh, I will not appear shirtless in the movie!"

--- In other news, AICN has a wisp of nothing proving nothing regarding Christopher Nolan's possible involvement in a third Batman movie. It's the opposite of exciting!

--- And continuing the theme of non-news, here are a bunch of extras on the Prince of Persia set in costume. Not thrilling at all!

--- Finally something useful - Doing us all a great public service, Low Resolution gives the internet the Greatest Film-Still of All Time:
