--- Don't Cross The Streams - Well the big news today is obviously - obviously! - the news that writers have been hired to write a third Ghostbusters movie. A pair of fellows who write for the television program The Office (American Edition), to be semi-specific. What does this mean? I'm not getting my hopes up. Writers being hired is not the same as Bill Murray signing on any dotted lines, and until that occurs, no hope in me. None!

--- While I've been consistently digging Stale Popcorn's "Black + White Friday" series - in which Glenn sees what a movie would look like if it'd been shot in B&W - I especially dug today's on Michael Mann's film Collateral, and it's reminded me that I really, really have got to watch that movie again. It's got a threesome of crazy people that I genuinely hate - Cruise! Foxx! Pinkett-Smith! - yet I think I might still love the movie all the same. It's been awhile though.

--- Got Poster - Towleroad has a look at the poster for Gus Van Sant's Milk (seen <---), and... meh. I'd like it better if they didn't feel the need to clutter it up with all those credits.

--- Money Money Money - The Film Experience takes a detailed look at what movies made what sort of money over the Big Summer Season. The graphic of Meryl Streep and The Hulk is worth a visit alone.

--- The Time Warp Again - BD has got some release date news on a couple of Very Important Pictures - First up, Final Destination 4 (3D!) has been moved away from us one week, to August 21, 2009. Boo! Secondly, Richard Kelly's The Box, his looooooong awaited third film starring Cam Diaz and Jimmy Marsden, has been moved closer! Like a lot! From next September all the way up to March 20th, 2009! Awesome!
