I Am 3 Horror Links

Well, the air is turning chilly at night, the skies grow darker earlier... that happiest time of year is upon us! All Hallows is right around the corner, y'all! I cannot wait. And in that spirit, here's a trifecta of spooky links for you this Thursday.

--- Never Follow A Hippie To A Second Location - I don't speak much of my like for Carrie Fisher, but I think she's a hoot. And I haven't spoken of the currently-in-production remake of 1983's fun-enough slasher flick The House on Sorority Row - now called simply Sorority Row - because as of yesterday all it starred was Rumer Willis and some chick from The Hills. But now Carrie Fisher has signed on to play the house mother (you know, like Anna Faris in The House Bunny) and suddenly I am kinda interested. Funny how that is, huh?

--- Handy - I guess Cinematical if feeling the Autumnal vibe, too - they went and posted this wonderfully informative guide to horror DVD releases coming our way over the next few weeks. Thrill to Faces of Death! Chill to Dance of the Dead! Spill to Flu Birds! Yes... Flu Birds. It's a good time to be a schlock fan.

--- And finally, remember that set report I linked to earlier this week where STYD visited the set of Henry Selick's sure-to-be-stellar Neil Gaiman adaptation Coraline? And all it had were itty bitty pictures that were impossible to make out? Well STYD went and fixed that sad situation, and now they have a gallery of super duper huge HD stills from behind-the-scenes of the stop-motion flick. Here are a couple:

There are more at STYD. Cannot cannot cannot wait for this movie! Coraline's out in February.
