I don't know how long Joss Whedon and Drew Goddard plan on keeping the details of what their joint-project Cabin in the Woods is about out of the public realm, but I love that quote (via MGM's studio chairman Mary Parent's announcement of their plans to finance the flick) because it reads like something ripped from the poster that hasn't been designed yet. Of a film not shot yet. Or second-drafted yet. It's intense AND visceral? Golly. "It's a crazy spill-outta-your-seat head-exploding-from-awesomeness-a-thon! Loved it, married it, had three babies with it, grew old with it, buried in a plot beside it for all eternity!" And then she cackles wild-eyed and sets her own hair on fire. Now that's a saleswoman!

For the record, Drew and Joss co-wrote the script, Joss is producing the film, and Drew is making his feature directing debut. I thought it was about time I looked up what master-geek Drew Goddard looked like, since I had no idea, and he's kinda adorable. No, what's the word? Adorkable? That's it.
