Happy Birthday, Joss Whedon

.
Joss Whedon turns 44 today. Which means he's still got, by my approximations, a good seventy-five to ninety years left of actively entertaining me with a never-ending string of television programs and possibly large budgeted feature films.

Yes, my math works out just fine, at least when you take into account that I will sneak into the hospital when Joss is on his death bed, hook him up to some sort of super-caffeinated death-stopping machine of my own invention, invented specifically for this purpose which I will get around to inventing any day now, really, believe me, which will allow Joss to continue working at least through one more century. Yay Joss! And yay me! Here are five random things that come to mind immediately when I think of the things I am thankful to Joss for having given the world:

1. Anya's speech in "The Body"
2. The scenes between Fred and Wesley in "A Hole In The World"
3."Once More, With Feeling"
4. Nathan Fillion's ass
5. Coming back to TV, where he belongs (Bring on Dollhouse!!!)

Happy birthday, Joss!
