RIP Irena Sendler

We now interrupt MNPP's usual cynical tirades for a brief romance with goodwill: Irena Sendler died today at the age of 98. Sendler helped to save the lives of 2500 children during the Holocaust by smuggling them out of the ghetto in suitcases or on trolleys. She was, basically, the type of person we all ought to strive to be.

Read Reuters' obit here, and find out more about her over at Wiki.

RIP Irena.
