Quote of the Day

.

There's a nice big hefty interview with the lovely Lee Pace over at AICN where they mostly talk about The Fall, his film with Cell director Tarsem that's out now, but a lil' Pushing Daisies does sneak its way into the questioning; responding to how he thinks the break between seasons (due to the writer's strike) has allowed them to step back and assess what's been working and how that'll allow for some positive changes, he says:

"I know that's it's going to be a little more aggressive storytelling. It's going to be bigger arcs with the characters, which I think will be really good. I like Ned best when he's under pressure, when it's not too easy for him. When it was him and Chuck and everything was rosy and cute, I think it gets a little sweet. I think it's better if he's in the doghouse with Chuck, or when he's chasing the girl. I think that's really interesting."

I'm know I'm biased, since I think the show's already an airy confection of perfect happiness, but there's always room for improvement. Like where's the "Ned the Piemaker goes undercover as a Turkish Oil Wrestler" episode been? Hmm, Bryan Fuller? Get on it!

On a sidenote, I googled Lee Pace's name to get a picture to accompany this article, and that naked picture of him from the movie Infamous that I posted way back when comes up as the #2 picture on Google! All I want that to mean is that Lee Pace will one day Google himself (we've all done it and if there's anything the celebrity culture of the past several years has taught me it's that "Celebrities are JUST LIKE US!") and make his way to MNPP and... um... marry me. That's the next logical step, right? I might be missing a couple, but that's the basic gist.

Have already read some not-so-great reviews of "The Fall." So if the crowds stay away, then I can spend 117 minutes alone with Lee in an empty theater. Works for me.

Man, that's the hottest pic of Lovely Lee you've shown so far. He looks like a cross between Noah Wyle and George Clooney.
