The Shape of Things to Come

.
"I just keffiyeh to say I love you."

The boyfriend's out of town and therefore hasn't seen last night's episode of Lost, so I can't really say anything specific about it, lest I spoil anything and end up thrown to the streets dragging my binky behind me like a sad gay clown, but man... that was good.

Read EW's recap if you want some pieces pushed together that maybe didn't make total sense; as always, Doc Jensen makes with the crazy-talk theorizing, but it's fun crazy-talk at least.

And I hereby declare the comments of this post safesville (i.e. boyfriend, don't tread here). If y'all have anything to say on the episode, take it inside. A fine return to the air, I thought.

When he came into the room at the end and said, "You know I can't do that," I totally called it. I immediately gasped and said, "He's going after Penny."

I have to admit that I laughed when all the red shirts kept coming out of that house and getting shot.

Dude, the red-shirt shooting-range bit was fuckin HYSTERICAL. "Go back in the house!" BANG! "Go back in the house!" BANG! "Go back in the house!" BANG!!! Awesome.

I adore Penny and I have no idea why, so Big Bad Ben better keep his mitts off of her. It did get me thinking on what's gonna happen to Desmond in the "future" since he's not one of the 6. Will he be around to rescue her?

I thought the most fascinating line of the episode was when Hurley, Sawyer and Locke were playing Risk and Hurley said something to Sawyer along the lines of how everybody's underestimating the importance of Australia and that everything hinges on that country; a sly was to say that the country where all out castaways were flying away from at the start is the most important piece of the puzzle.

I agree with what Doc Jensen said over at EW that the killing of Alex wasn't supposed to happen and that it's kind of thrown off the timeline or something. Hell, maybe the killing of Alex is the one event that has caused all of this because it has changed events in both the past an present and . . . my head hurts

I PRAY Alex isn't dead. And Danielle.
