Radiohead were the first musical guests Conan O'Brien ever had on his show, a full 15 years ago. Tonight they're back... but not in person! (news via ateaseweb)Man, I'd be so pissed if I were an audience member at Conan's show today and found out that yes, Radiohead's the musical guest but they're performing via satellite for part of NBC's "Green Week" (their not flying here to perform reduces their carbon footprint, blah blah blah). Nothing comes between me and my favoritest band - I would slash-and-burn every rain-forest on the face of the planet if it tried to come between us.
Thankfully for the human race's continued ecological survival, I am not an audience member at today's Conan O'Brien taping. Here's their performance of "Creep" on Conan from 15 years back:
