The Greatest Movie...

... in which the following are just a taste of all the geek-flicks crammed into a blender and spun puree style: The Road Warrior, Indiana Jones, Terminator, Aliens, Escape From New York, Conan the Barbarian, Lord of the Rings, 28 Days Later, The Warriors... man I could keep going...

Doomsday (2008)

I could say more about the film, but why bother when FourFour and my bud Sean have said nearly all that needs to be said already? The movie's a damned hoot, destined for a long shelf-life at video stores (or, ya know, whatever the modern-day equivalent is to a video store). I'm so happy Neil Marshall didn't mess this sucker up; it's exactly what it's supposed to be. There's a cannibal barbecue! Blown-to-smithereens bunny rabbits (just in time for Easter, too)! There are so many decapitated heads you'll lose count! Good, good times. I highly recommend catching this thing in the theater before it vanishes. Make sure to sneak in a six-pack and perhaps a bag of Funyuns, too; you'll need 'em!
