Who's The Man's Man?

Y'all know I've had a crush on model-turned-actor Channing Tatum for awhile. And I'm hardly alone in appreciating his physical assets.

Which is why I find what I'm about to say so strange: I actually think the animated character of Duke, from G.I. Joe - whom Tatum has apparently just signed on to play in Stephen "Van Helsing" Sommers' big-screen version of the cartoon - is too hot for Tatum to play. I mean, it only occured to me while looking at the two of them side by side:

Duke is all I can look at there. Perhaps Tatum's too young? Too... pretty? He doesn't really come off as that girly per se, but Tatum's gonna have to muster up all the testosterone he's got to convince me he's as manly as Duke's looking there. Maybe the buzz-cut and, ahem, well-fit uniform will help convince me.

And Mr. Tatum, you can feel free to drop by any time and convince me of your manliness.

And after you're done at Ja's house, I'll need some convincing too-perhaps you could bring your Stop-Loss costars with you.

Perhaps when he stops waxing his chest...

Now, Sam Worthington who was original cast? Yummm-o!
