Good golly I've been a distracted bastard lately. Vacay swallowed my brain, and all. There were a few things I wanted to participate in but got waylaid by stupidity stuff and did not; here are some linkages to make up for my lameness, though...
--- JD had his Endings Blog-a-thon from Dec. 27th through 30th, and yes, it was four days long, yet I still managed zilch. But plenty of lovely, responsible people did manage to post, and if you click here you can find links to them all. It was a terrific topic perfectly placed on the calendar so here's to hoping JD makes it an annual thing. Ahem. Hear me, JD?
--- ModFab has been running through various Best Of '08 lists, and listed the Best Movies right here. I couldn't bring myself to make any lists until I saw There Will Be Blood, which didn't happen until after the cut-off date. I made a wise decision since, not surprisingly, once I do make my list (I'm thinking next week; and yes, I am doing a Best Of list for sure this year), TWBB is gonna be ever-so-high-up. Still, it seems plenty of those entrusted with the final verdict did manage to see it, since it placed 8th. ModFab's own personal Best In Movies '08 list is right here.
--- Hoping this post doesn't count as a preemptive cop-out of my own - one never does know when one is as large a spazz as I am - but StinkyLulu is holding his annual Supporting Actress Blog-a-Thon on this Sunday, which... hopefully I will participate in. Hopefully. But here's the delightfully entertaining trailer for said event!

And Good lord, what am I gonna do for Sunday?!?!??!?! If I do Saoirse, it'll be too obvious and probably done by a lot of people, and I haven't even seen her yet; I caqn't do Juliette Binoche because she "counts as last year"; Staunton is too uninteresting to talk about personally (AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!)
