Weird - Joe and I were just talking about Jeremy Renner last night, and today it's his birthday! Isn't that absolutely nuts? God we're amazing.
Anyway, Renner was in two of my Top 20 films this year (yes I'm still working on it; it'll very much most likely hit tomorrow) and I finally saw Dahmer a few months back in which he gave a spectacularly effective performance, so Renner's crept high onto my radar this year. Next we'll be seeing him in Kathryn Bigelow's The Hurt Locker. He's a terrific actor who deserves a lot more recognition. Happy birthday, Jeremy!
