Oh. My. God. Behold the CJ7... i.e. the Cutest Thing Ever:
You can see the trailer for CJ7 right here. I guess, according to AICN where I found this, this is Stephen Chow's bid at making something like E.T., which he loved when he was young. This is so much cuter than that infected-tumor E.T. though. It reminds me more of Gizmo. And since I don't think they'll ever make a Gremlins 3 - something I curse the heavens for ever night - this little squishy devil will have to fill the Mogwai-shaped hole in my heart then.
Have I mentioned that I totally have a crush on Stephen Chow, by the way? Not only has he made two immensely entertaining flicks in a row - that'd be Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle - but he's SO funny. I love the part in this trailer where he says "I do have a problem with my body... I'm far too handsome" and then throws his head back and laughs... he's all sorts of awesome. Can't wait for this one. It's out March 7th.

March 7th? ARGH! It was Jan 25th a few days ago. Oh well, maybe it will do better in March. Stinks to have to wait though. I hope someone sells tie-in CJ7 toys.
Um. Omigod. We are totally going to Chinatown and buying some of his earlier movies. You think he's hilarious now....
