To be fair, I'm guessing by the lack of an actual release date that this was just a teaser poster for The Ruins, but it's the first one I've seen and doesn't it just scream... nothing. It yawns. It rolls over and scratches its hind-side. But scream, notsomuch.
We really ought to have more marketing stuff for the movie by now. The lack thereof worries me. Makes me think they'll change the release date. I been burned too many times before!
The poster came from here, where there's also a pretty damned positive review of the film from a test screening. They call it a "near classic." Of course, they also say it didn't scare them. Schizo!

I agree. This poster looks like a scrapped idea from Turistas. I still believe the movie will be fun though.
I think it's an amazing poster. It conveys so much! For starters, it shows that there are characters at a beach! Secondly... ummm... well... er... okay, you're right.
