Remembering The Josh Brolin Of My Youth

There's an interview with Josh Brolin over at AICN about the roll he's been on this year - having been featured in Planet Terror, In The Valley of Elah, American Gangster, and most prominently in this weekend's No Country For Old Men - but all it made me think about was how Mr. Brolin was one of my earliest crushes... I was so in love with him in The Goonies:

Sex bomb! Nobody will ever work a cut-up sweatpants/sweatshirt duo with running-shorts over top and a red bandanna quite as nicely, right? I so need to do this outfit for Halloween one of these years.

This comment is completely unrelated to your post. Sorry about that.

This weekend I'm going to see some of the Horror Film Festival. That 8 Films to Die For mother. The Deaths of Ian Stone is at the top of my list to see. Have you heard anything about any of the others? Which ones are worth seeing? There's no way I can make it to all eight.

I need your insight.

The same thing that happened to me last year seems to have reared its head again - this thing's sneaked up on me and I'm completely unprepared!

I don't know much about any of the films except The Deaths of Ian Stone, but I can provide you with a link where you can find loads of info - right here they've got trailers, reviews, and images up for all the films. I'm going to scan through the info now and educate myself as well.

And I hope I can still get tickets to some of these! God, so unprepared I am!

My Goonies crush was on Sean Astin, which is kinda scary 'cause he hadn't even hit puberty yet!

I guess I always liked the older men.

I did crush on Sean Astin in Toy Soldiers a couple years later though.
