--- Noni, My Noni - Winona Ryder has been cast as Mrs. Spock, aka the Pointy-Eared One's mama, in JJ Abrams' Star Trek movie. Yay! And can she work more please? I love her so.

--- Island Bites - ABC.com will start showing Lost minisodes - featuring the main cast, running 3 min. long - this Monday. We still don't know when we'll see the new season, with this strike business mucking up shooting.

--- Speaking of the strike, Ronald Moore, aka Mr. Battlestar Galactica, talked to IGN about the strike and the effect it'll have on BSG's 4th and final season. His explanation of what the strike is for is the clearest cut explanation I've read so far.

--- Boo Weekend - BD has reviews up for every film showing at the AfterDark Horror Fest airing around the country this weekend. I'm totally gonna miss it again this year; I'm such an asshole.
