With the wonderful Ratatouille having come out on DVD yesterday, I've got the fine folks at Pixar on my brain this mornin'... they've made eight feature films in the 12 years, and they really show no signs of slowing down with the quality - Ratatouille has the highest Metacritic rating of any of their films!
This may be the toughest time I've ever had setting the bar at only five for one of these lists. But, biting the bullet, here's five of my favorite characters that Pixar has brought the world in their post-Toy Story reign of animation dominance.
Anton Ego (voiced by Peter O'Toole), Ratatouille

I would add that those are also my five favorite Pixar movies. Glad you included A Bugs Life. Horribly overlooked but still one of the best.
Heimlich is my single favorite character from any of their movies, so he was a Must. I even have a stuffed Heimlich doll, god help me. I loooooooooooove him.
I would swap Toy Story 2 for the first one, and then they'd be my five favorite Pixar films as well.
