Via ONTD comes what coulda shoulda been dammit: it's the presentation Rob Thomas gave to The CW for a fourth season of Veronica Mars. I do believe this is included on the third season DVD set. It's in two parts:

I can't watch it until tonight so y'all will have to fill me in - just how wretched will I feel after watching it? Sigh. These wounds have not yet healed, and the scabs are being torn asunder once more! I don't know why I'm talking like this. Something makes me feel all epic-like with my devotion to this poor show.

Yeah, that looks like it would have been absolutely great. So sad. Isn't that lead FBI guy the one who played the douchebag, Parker I think, that Buffy slept with in college?
wrenching, horrible pain
a black emptiness in your gut numbing all senses
a dizzy vertigo when you think about Reaper or the Next Pussyscrap Douche
. . .
then I think she'd have to go after Logan for some nefarious reason and i pass out from the pain of what could have been.
i would order this on dvd, if they made it.
and this just shows how screwed up heroes has been - she's wasted with a whiny character and no subtle writing
a shame, really. i guess this show belonged on fx or usa or bravo - not broadcast.
I think you're right, ghouliejulie, that is Parker! Parker kept me from watching Buffy for two years because the first episode I ever tuned in for was the one where Buffy spent the entire ep whining about him, and I didn't give the show a chance again for two whole years. Damn you, Parker! I still find that ep insufferable, so seeing him does not bring happy thoughts.
I feel like I could watch these two videos 20 times over. I didn't realize how much very much I longed for Veronica again until seeing this. Horrible horrible, the pain.
Parker bad.
Parker was really annoying, and it was rather difficult to watch Buffy fall for such an apparent skeeze. It wasn't just his character - it was also his look, but I think age has served him well (and maybe a better character?). Patrick Dempsey is way cuter to me now than he ever was back in the "Can't Buy Me Love" days.
