BD's hosting a slew of new images from 30 Days of Night, and a couple caught my eye... my freaked-out, shuddering eye...

You might say it's easy - so been-there-Romero-did-that-40-years-ago - to throw some fangs and/or gore on a little girl and have her snarl and whala, instant creepy kid, but it still gets me. The teddy bear's limbs all akimbo! Eee!

And the CG silly-puttying of faces looks kinda silly in a couple of the other shots at BD - including the close-up of the little girl - but the above pic works for me simply because of a very simple rule: chicks with goatees are scary. Chicks with goatees made out of some unnameable ooze? Scary-er.
I'm totally planning on seeing this flick. I have 0.00% faith in it being any good, but I still plan on seeing it. I'm susceptible to many influences, most of them the whims of dullards.

i thought the little girl in pic 1 had a beard at first. now i'm not sure which would be creepier.
As much as I hated the comics, I too will likely be all over seeing the film.
