I Am Friday's Link

--- Frak'd - SciFi is really daring us to hate them, huh? They still haven't answered whether they're splitting up Battlestar Galactica's fourth and final season into two halves, and now they've moved its start-date to April, instead of January as promised.

--- All of them... Lesbians? - Roger Ebert just got around to reviewing Grindhouse, and... it's a great, albeit odd, read. I agree with him on most points - though I seem to have enjoyed it a little more than he did - but I'm not exactly sure why he thinks that most of the women in Death Proof are gay. Anyway, loved his opening sentence:

"Quentin Tarantino's "Death Proof" and Robert Rodriguez's "Planet Terror" play as if "Night of the Living Dead" and "Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!" were combined on a double bill under the parentage of the dark sperm of vengeance."

--- Brokeback Abandoned - EW's got a must-read article on The Sad State Of Gay post-Brokeback in Hollywood.

--- Bloody Good Bai - There are some more pictures of Bai Ling coated in gore at BD, for those of you who are into that sorta thing.

A friend of mine forwarded me an email last week that the production team for this film, The Gauntlet, was looking for extras, some of whom would be shooting with Bai Ling, and it was soooo tempting.

--- The Homicidal Pushovers - Digging this list at Cinematical of The Most Easily Escapable Movie Monsters. It did always seem like getting away from Jason Voorhees would actually be much simpler than his movies let on.

There's only one thing better than a bloody Bai, and that's a bloody Bai nip slip. I'm still waiting on that one!
