Even as a kid, there was something terribly wrong with my judgment - always obscured by hormones... I usually found myself rooting for Drago in the big battle at the end of Rocky IV. I know; that basically makes me a Commie, right? But... but... Dolph was so fine to look at! Resistance was futile. I mean, come on!
My father was a total meat-head muscle-freak back in the mid-80s, so there were stacks of Men's Fitness and so forth around his place that I'd feign some sort of interest in for very different reasons than my actual purposes were... I remember seeing a lot of Dolph in this period. Ah, memories.

I'm not sure about the final fight but I was definitely rooting for him against Apollo Creed. Nice guy, but he deserved to lose for that horrible James Brown production number alone. Meanwhile Drago is just this uber-efficient godlike Eastern European killing machine. Magnetic!
