Four Months Later

.

SPOILERS LAY AHEAD! (And above!)

Maybe it's just due to the fact that I'm impatiently awaiting Kristen Bell's appearance in the fifth episode, but last night's second season premiere of Heroes? Was not doing much for me. Again I felt about thirty steps ahead of the show with its "surprises" - you're kidding me, Peter Petrelli's alive? I never would've guessed! Especially with Milo doing endless press for the show beforehand! Wait; they're killing George Takei? I hadn't figured that out from the opening scenes.

I figure a lot of my lack of surprise watching the first season two weeks ago was the general sorta-heard-it-through-the-grapevine trickles of information I'd picked up as it aired, but watching the show live for the first time, not knowing what's coming, and hardly being able to pay attention or find myself surprised at any turn of the events doesn't bode well.

Except the show doesn't even need to bode well right now; it just needs to remind me that Kristen Bell is coming in four weeks. I'm a sucker. Carry on, Heroes, carry on.

HA! Great still.

(although having a chained up Milo isn't a funny concept in and of itself)
