Hee, this conversation with David Cronenberg at The Film Society of Lincoln Center brings up the already-much-ballyhooed naked fight scene with Viggo Mortensen in Eastern Promises, and hearing Cronenberg discuss it comes off as pretty funny:

Film Society: I found a piece that someone had posted on Ain’t It Cool News about having seen a preview of the film.
David Cronenberg: Was it the guy who was obsessed with Viggo’s balls?
FS: I don’t know if I performed an act of repression, but I don’t remember seeing his balls.
DC: You do see them. It’s just that they go by rather quickly.
FS: Right. I meant I didn’t notice them in particular.
DC: It wasn’t like there was a close-up of them. But this guy was obsessed. He even wrote “big hairy balls.” Well, that’s one way of looking at it. They’re definitely there, as you would imagine, but it’s only if you’re looking for them that that’s what you see. Because mostly he’s shot in full figure. So when people decide to run the DVD frame by frame, they are going to see everything at one point or another. Of course, a lot of the time it’s going to be slightly blurred because he’s in motion.

Well, I've already seen Viggo's bits in 'Indian Runner' and was going to buy this DVD ANYWAYS, but you bet your arse I'll be stop framing that part like every other viggo fan that lusts after him!!!
Wasn't there a rumor or two about David and Viggo, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S..etc?
Yeah, his bits ain't nothing new. And, to be honest, Viggo doesn't do a whole lot for me. I like him, actor-wise, and thought he was semi-swoony when he was younger... his tiny-mustached Marine act in GI Jane was probably the height of his hotness.
I've heard the Cronenberg/Viggo plaything rumors for awhile and I don't really think there's much truth to it. I mean, they both come off as kinda pervy, to put it mildly, so maybe they swap wives or watch each other have sex or something; that wouldn't surprise me.
