I have to say, there is something creepy about seeing a child Michael Myers wearing the adult mask we've all come to know and fear. Yet, at the same time - because I am me and everything having to do with this Halloween remake seems designed to rub me the wrong way - I can't help but want to call "Bullshit!" because... why does he have the mask as a kid? I guess we'll find out, maybe even see him make the mask, lovingly spray-painting a William Shatner mask in his basement, which just... ugh, ya know? This whole "witness the birth of an iconic, well, void" thing is really grating.
The pic's from BD, where they have a couple other new stills. This thing hits theaters this weekend, and y'all know I'm going to see it anyway, despite my bitching, so I'll just shut up and let the film speak for itself from here on out, I guess. Benefit of the fucking doubt and all that jazz.

Well, I do know it's one of those "origin" movies, so Mikey was killing people even when he was just a homicidal tyke...
So, I guess there's not gonna be any scene where MM breaks into a costume shop and steals the mask, hey?
That picture is really kinda creepy, but would be better if MM wasn't wearing the mask purely because it's too big for the kid and looks utterly ridiculous on him.
Have you seen the kid on the red carpet premiers? he looks frightning in the "put a mask over his head" kind of way. Ironic.
