Ever since writing that last post, I've been trying to calm myself down about what is, in reality, a silly reality show... sure, it's making me question all of my faith in humanity, but there was so little of that left anyway... anyway, I don't know why it didn't occur to me to just go look at pictures of Jake... they're the soothing balm my heart needs now. Here's a new-to-me pic of Jake from IHJM:

Oh Jake, he's good for what ails you. I have a feeling he could cure all diseases-they should just put his picture up in every waiting room in America, and suddenly the entire health crisis in the country would disappear.
Yeah...we all should experience Jake healing power...:)
I fell in love with that new/old photo, too. It's a slightly different pose than the one I know I'd seen before, and Jake's so casually beautiful in his "Aww, shucks!" mode. *sigh* The man definitely has the power to make me feel wonderful just by looking at him. Jake Gyllenhaal: the soothing soul-balm of miracles.
