--- This really deserves its own post, but I'm caffeine-deficient at the moment so I'm heaping it in with the rest - the first teaser trailer for Dario Argento's new horror flick, called La Terza Madre (The Third Mother), has popped up online via Twitch! Happy day! La Terza Madre stars Argento's daughter, Asia, she of tattooed indie fame herself, and is being touted as his first memorable flick in quite awhile. Click here fort a NSFW batch of pictures that I hadn't seen before that are freaking me out (that second one! WTF?). The film will be released on Halloween day in Italy, but there's still no specific release date listed for anywhere else.
--- From Jake to Hugh - director Gavin Hood is living the high life in Hollywood, it seems, after making the fine film Tsotsi - his next step after the Jake Gyllenhaal-Reese Witherspoon starring Rendition (I saw the trailer!) will be to take the reins for the X-Men spinoff film Wolverine with Hugh Jackman reprising his metal claws and tight, tight pants...
--- Via Glenn we can see the poster (down at the right there) for Wes Anderson's next flick, The Darjeeling Limited, at The Hot Blog (they also say there ought to
be a trailer attached to Once this weekend)... the poster's okay, but so... him, like it's been done before... by him. As Glenn pointed out, it's really, really reminiscent of the poster for The Life Aquatic.
I really wish that fake poster I posted months ago would've turned out to be it; I liked that one a lot, and it was him without being him. Ya know?
