I caught a bit of this unbelievably bad - seriously, I can't look at the screen for longer than a minute at a time without killing too many brain-cells to remember how to breathe - movie on television last night for the first time since seeing it in the theater... yes, I saw it in the theater. Anyway, it's even worse than I remembered. This thing is MST3K bad. What was this movie's budget? Like 20 bucks? Awful, awful special effects, totally ridiculous dialogue, some of the hammiest acting I've ever seen outside of a made-for-SciFi movie... I can't believe that Universal released this turd into cinemas and sullied their Universal Horror brand in the process. Shame, shame all around. But the thing is... I think there could be some real success in building some drinking games around this thing. I think I'd have to get good and drunk to sit through the whole thing, at least.
