In which a man is crushed by a falling taxidermied polar bear? Check. In which a monster truck ravages a car dealership? Check. In which Patrick Swayze wears the most ridiculous series of 80's International Male inspired outfits? Check. In which this chick does the least sexy striptease ever filmed? Check.
I got sucked into this "classic" again on TV last night - I've probably seen this movie 10-15 times (woe is my brain) - and man it never stops being unintentionally hilarious. If I'm gonna be honest I watched this movie a lot as a kid because The Swayze was half-naked half the movie and, well, this guy... but I hate admitting I had a crush on The Swayze. I hate it. It's a thousand times worse than crushing on The Guttenberg.

You HAD to be a fan of MST3K, no? Well - if so, hell, even if you weren't, check out Rifftrax - it's like the MST3K commentary that you download and listen to while you are watching the DVD. Anyway - they do one for Roadhouse - and it's funny as hell! Here is a link:

I've actually not seen a lot of MST3K, just an episode here and there, but I did always find it awesome. Something similar for Road House sounds like a world of hilarity, so I'll have to check it out. Thanks echodek! And thanks for the kind words!
