Well the studio behind Spike Jonze's Where the Wild Things Are did the smart thing, seeing that crappy-resolution camera-phone-taken image making the rounds online yesterday, and released the image for real, thank goodness:

Spike Jonze + Classic Children's book = Mindf@#ked kids. I don't know if that's necessarily a good thing, but I'm waiting eagerly.
That's a recipe for GENIUS, JD! I have no doubt in my mind at all that this is gonna be completely awesome. It's a perfect combination. Kids need a good mind-fucking here and there.
