I Am Angry Link

So yeah, as the day goes on my mood is spiralling even further into the crapper. Unless something immense presents itself posting will probably be light today because I'm having far too much fun wallowing in my own anger. But anyway, here's a couple brief things catching my eye...

--- No room at the Hogsmeade for love - Actress Katie Leung, who's played Harry Potter's love interest, Cho Chang, in the films, doesn't seem to think that there will be room amongst the clutter for her to make an appearance in the sixth film, The Half Blood Prince, which shoots this Fall I believe. Just frees up Harry to mack on Draco then, as far as I'm concerned. And yes, that's gross.

--- The Log Lady Cometh - Answering my cries to watch the show in its entirety and refusal to watch it until that were possible, my pal Sean dug up some info on a boxed set of everything Twin Peaks that'll supposedly be coming out this Fall. My patience had worn thin, so good on them for cutting off a rampage the likes of which the world would never recover from.

--- Maybe this one won't suck - A sequel to the seriously over-valued (says me) Korean Monster Movie The Host is going to be made, and apparently all the special effects - which were farmed out round the globe for the first film - will be done inside South Korea, and the director of the original film, Bong Joon-ho, will not return.

--- And speaking of Asian Horror related type things, Steven at The Horror Blog alerts us to The War on Horror that's happening in China right now, due to a manga (turned series, turned movie, turned videogame...) called Death Note. Ahh communism, ya gotta love it. ... Wait, you don't? [insert Body Snatchers point and scream here]

Cho Chang really isn't that important in #6 so.....that's fine. He gets it on with Ginny, instead.

I've REALLY got to go back and read the past two books again. I read them each once, and each withing like 48 hours of their release, and loads of details are sktechy. Like, until you just typed that, I totally forgot about the Harry/Ginny stuff. Bonkers! And shame on me.

Holy crap, I used to read Death Note online (because there weren't any official English translations of it) I think the first year it was out. At first it was great fun, but then I sort of gave up, because the plot dragged worse than Lost. Sometime later I tried to find the manga again, but I couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me. And now? A TV show? A video game? Crazy.
