Today's Mood

One of my very favorite performances ever
(to make me feel better about VM's cancellation):

'Ouisa' Kittredge (Stockard Channing),
Six Degrees of Seperation

"I am a collage of unaccounted for brush strokes.
I am all random."

"Chaos, control. Chaos, control.
You like, you like?"

"Oh, would we visit you and sit in your gorgeous house,
planning visits to the townships, demanding to see the poorest
of the poor? "Oh, are you sure they're the worst off?
I mean, we've come all this way.
I mean, we don't want to see people
just mildly victimized by apartheid. We demand shock."
You know it doesn't seem right, sitting on the East Side,
talking about revolution. "

This is my first visit to your blog, thanks to the Advocate piece.
Glad there are other gay gore-hounds out there! Having said that, I liked your quotes from 6 Degrees, one of my favorite non-horror films. --Walter, Minneapolis

I loved Stockard in this movie. It's a shame Will Smith didn't really sink his teeth into his character. Such a great opportunity and he kind of blew it.
