"I too quit smoking (2013) AND find this type of pictures cool. Also, PSA: if you're feeling like you want to start smoking again, just remind yourself "I do not want my body and house to stink like stale horseshit", then go drink one more glass of water to entertain your hands and lips. got to be the exorcist...didn't find it remotely scary
You're the devil.
Definitely The Ring.
so I've been told
Dude, I am in perfect agreement with rurrer jurrer. Every time I've tried to watch the Exorcist it bored the piss out of me and made me sleepy.
My blog is filled with devils!!!
The American version of The Ring pissed me off, but only because I'm a big fan of the Japanese version and I thought they ruined it. My boyfriend actually loved the American one. I don't know.
You know, I enjoyed watching the exorcist but didn't find it that scary. I appreciated it as a great (horror) film. It really is a classic.
I also enjoyed the American Version of the Ring. I’ve never seen Ringu; so maybe that’s why I enjoyed the American version—I had no idea what I was really missing. I also really like Naomi Watts; that contributed to me liking the film a lot. But I wasn’t really scared.
The film that I never really got was The Blair Witch Project. Actually, I really liked the idea and I loved the fact that it was different. But I didn’t find it at all scary (or worth a second viewing). I usually prefer horror films that are beautiful in some way. Blair Witch made a lot of money but it isn’t the type of horror film I usually go for. I thought it was a little over-rated.
By the way, I love your new banner. Audition is the type of horror film I LOVE! It’s just a piece of cinematic art. It was so well-made; it was almost perfect. I enjoyed the film from start to finish. It’s one of my favorite horror films. Beautiful!
Marius, that's what I'm like with Halloween. Think it's a great movie and I can tell why others think it's scary, but I had seen so many ripoffs by the time I got to see it that some of the potency was gone. But it's still better than most horror movies being put out.
I'd definitely agree with The Ring. Me and my friend saw it at the cinema and we were the only ones there and it still wasn't remotely scary. The sequel was worse. One of only three movies I've ever fallen asleep at at the cinema.
I also suggest Audition. The first 3/4 are a boring snoozefest and then the end is just ridiculously "shocking". I gave that load of garbage an F because I hated it so freakin much.
Don't you love my new banner then, Glenn? I thought of you when I made it. ;-)
I'd seen most of the Halloween imitators first too, but it then and still scares the bejesus outta me. The face of Michael Myers gets to something at my core; I've had many nightmares since that involved that mask coming towards me. I maintain that the scene where Jaime Lee is locked out of the house and is trying to wake the kids to let her in as Michael walks soooooooo slowly towards her across the street is one of the absolute scariest moments ever put on film. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it.
That bit is terrifying.
And, yes, Ja I just love the banner. :/
I actually really like the image of her with the needle. Probably the only thing I did like about that movie.
