(Wholly Ridiculous) Quote of the Day

Director Josef Rusnak, talking about how he's updated the schlock-horror film It's Alive, about a murderous devil baby, for his apparently-already-filmed remake (it filmed so quickly it doesn't even have a page on IMDb yet) (from BD):

"Some character elements and situations have been updated to reflect certain changes in society, but the script still preys on the genre's ability to explode the foundation of today's bourgeoisie."

It's been awhile since somebody made me want to slap them in the face quite so instantaneously, so I guess he deserves props for that.

His remake stars noted-thespian Bijou Phillips and will surely open up the world's eyes to all manner of the world's injustices. Also, murderous devil baby.
