So the 2nd Season of Twin Peaks finally comes out on DVD today. Awesome, right? I'd been whinging for the chance to see this series for a good long while now, since I didn't watch it when it was on the air.Only... now, the first season isn't available any more. WTF? So I didn't watch or buy the first season when it was available because I didn't want to watch it without knowing when I'd be able to see the rest, and now that the rest is available, I can't see the beginning.
This is just like some sort of David Lynch mind-fuck. If two tiny old people come running up to my feet, I'm gonna lose it.
Well, alright, I'd lose it anyway if two tiny old people came running up to my feet. But still - this blows. I have to hazard to guess that this thing will be, at some point in the future, united into some big boxset, right? So I wait. More. Gah.

YAY! I can't wait to receive my Season 2 in the mail. I've watched the first season so many times but only seen the second once on crummy VHS.
And, I know in Australia they were going to release the second season on DVD last year and at the same time release a box set with both seasons. It currently has no release date though.

Also, if you wanna see season 1 you can order it from overseas. I'm not sure about England, but the Australian season 1 features the pilot episode (which the american one does not) and considering the pilot is the single greatest episode of any television show ever you'd be silly to miss it.
