--- If they really truly do get this
X-Files sequel off the ground, like
David Duchovny is claiming (again) to be happening, and it does deal with a stand-alone horror story - as opposed to the show's
garbled rich mythology - then I'd be mighty disappointed if we didn't find ourselves in

the company of
Ma Peacock once more. Maybe just a shot of that convertible in the background warbling it's eerie tune? I know, it'll never happen, but that episode of
The X-Files is the best thing they ever did, and possibly the most frightening thing ever aired on network television, so you can excuse me my false hopes.
--- I guess Johnny Depp is back on the set of
Sweeney Todd after his daughter's illness, since we're seeing
shots of him in character-drag suddenly appearing. I used the word "drag" on purpose, btw.
--- There aren't any cave people to be seen, but
here's the first shot from the set of Neil Marshall (
The Descent)'s next film, called
Doomsday, which I was
somewhat foolishly dismissive of back upon first hearing of it, and was
lightly nudged for said foolishness by my pal Sean. After watching pieces of
The Descent again, - which I went crazy for the first couple of times anyway - I will never doubt Mr. Marshall's choices again. He's got talent to spare - like, he keeps buckets of talent around his house not sure what to do with it all; he seels talent on Ebay for lower than it should sell for - and even if the story sounds like
28 Minutes Later and the picture I'm linking to here looks like
28 Minutes Later, I will never doubt him again!
--- Them's the Deathly Hallows alright! FilmIck has got the British version of the next and last
Harry Potter book.
