I re-watched Lambs last night for the first time in probably eight years - it really doesn't get any better, does it? It's just a perfect movie, start to finish. I don't begrudge it a single Oscar - Hopkins and Foster are both fantastic in it, and it's so well-structured I couldn't take my eyes off the screen even as it got well-past my bedtime.
Also, note to self: Silence of the Lambs? Not a good bedtime movie.

Agreed. I recently rewatched it and it's just simply stunning. That was a pretty good year, actually, with several A movies.
