Via Film Ick comes news on the long-delayed semi-companion- piece to Lucky McKee's semi-genius film May, called Roman.I've spoken briefly of Roman before, right here - in a bit of a flip-flop, it's directed by the star of May, Angela Bettis, and in the main acting role is May's director, Mr. McKee. Got that?
Oh, and it also stars Kristen "Veronica Mars" Bell. Sigh.
But according to Film Ick, the film's getting the Straight-to-DVD treatment:
"Today, Fangoria and Dread Central have both reported that the film will finally be released by Echo Bridge Entertainment [on March 27th]. Unfortunately, this will be direct to DVD, but fortunately, the film will come with a nice set of special features: a group commentary, deleted scenes, interviews and outtakes."
