Oh poor Claire Danes. First she becomes an object of loathing for stealing away very pregnant Mary Louise Parker's babydaddy Billy Crudup, then she cheats on Crudup with her co-star in the upcoming film Evening, Hugh Dancy, whom everyone seems to have decided to refer to from here on out as "that gay guy that hooked up with Claire Danes." I mean, I know Claire's got a bit of a boyish figure and all, but... that's some confusion.
More importantly, though, to me, is this newly learned boy-macking side of Mr. Dancy. I remember him fondly as the prince in the way-more-entertaining- than-it-has-any-right-to-be Ella Enchanted, and he caught the boyfriend's eye over the weekend in the trailer to the so-badly-named-it-elicits-howls-of-laughter-from-the-audience Blood and Chocolate.
Anyway, he's cute, and he's making out with Michael Cunningham and male hotel staff (and yes, Claire Danes) left and right, so consider me fascinated. Enough to do another post of spontaneous gratuity! That's two Brit-boy actors in one week (previously: Charlie Hunnam); I'm experiencing some sort of anglo-centric carnal explosion I guess.

Yeah, Ella Enchanted is weirdly entertaining isn't it? Between that and Get Over It Tommy O'Haver really managed to pull off two stylized films that are much more funny than you'd think, given the subject matter.
